The Nevada State AFL-CIO proudly hosted our 69th Constitutional Convention last month at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno.
More than 200 delegates from across Nevada convened to hear directly from elected officials, affiliates, and community partners, and to vote on the direction of the Nevada State AFL-CIO. Delegates represented the building and construction trades, the service industry, public employees, and many other sectors of our labor movement.
The Nevada State AFL-CIO is dedicated to building stronger unions, empowering our members through education and organizing, and standing together in solidarity to challenge those who seek to divide us.
Local 845 President Daria Kemp , Recording Secretary Sue Bonney and Local 845 Vice President Tina Swarner were in attendance as IAM Delegates .
It was both an inspiring and uplifting convention
